Characteristics

Whole dried unopened clove buds, nail-shaped, reddish brown, with a strong warm aroma. Free from stems beyond the agreed limit.

Specifications

Moisture 12% max. Headless cloves 5% max on whole grade. Extraneous matter 1% max. Volatile oil typically 15% min.

Packaging

10 kg or 25 kg cartons, or jute bags.

Hand-picked whole, FAQ and headless, by bud size.
